Where do security questions come from?
Security questions come from our database. On registration we ask you to complete your profile which includes 5 security questions, we randomly select those to verify your identity on the day you will take the exam.
Are breaks allowed during my exam?
No, you have to finish the exam in one go no breaks are allowed.
How far in advance should I cancel an exam?
Please contact us at least 48 hours before your appointment. Since you can take the exam anytime within one year of enrolling so you can cancel the exam at 48 hour notice and reschedule it but if you fail to show up without cancelling then it would be considered one attempt and you will have to pay for test retake.
How does VProctor accommodate test- takers with special learning needs?
VProctor can accommodate individuals with most disabilities through one-on- one coordination. Because we use human proctors who can interact with the test-takers in real time, the service is able to make unique accommodations.

Who are the proctors?
ProctorU uses technology to connect test-takers to live people. Our proctors are highly qualified professionals who strive to make taking an online assessment as seamless as possible for test-takers. New proctors undergo a two-week training program that ensures that they maintain the highest level of integrity throughout the identity authentication and test-taking process.
How does VProctor prevent cheating or identity fraud?
Proctors are trained to authenticate identity and monitor for specific behavior in real time; frequently checking in if they feel there might be an issue. Our approach is rooted in a unique combination of real people, innovative technology and industry standards, and is aimed at preventing cheating and identity fraud.
Can VProctor provide proctoring services for large-scale classes?
Yes. VProctor is able to proctor exams for 500 test-takers at once and two thousand in a day.
Does my exam begin when I connect with Proctor?
No, the time for your exam does not start until the exam itself has been opened.
At what time should I arrive for my exam?
Arrive at the time you selected when you scheduled the exam. If you have any technical difficulty or any other problems preventing you from logging in at your scheduled exam time, please use our LiveChat feature at the bottom of the screen.
Why do I need my photo ID? Will a non-photo ID work?
Your proctor needs to verify that you are the person who is taking the exam. Non-photo IDs will not be accepted as a form of verification.
What do I need to bring with me on the day of my exam?
You will need one form of photo ID (i.e. driver’s license, passport, school ID, etc.) to show to your proctor, any materials authorized for use by your instructor (scratch paper, pencil, etc.), and a reflective device, such as a mirror, to show your proctor what is in front of you.
What do I need before my exam day?
Before your exam, make sure that you test your equipment. You must have a web camera and a microphone so that you and your proctor may communicate. Make sure you also have your photo ID ready, as well as a mirror.
Do I have to pay extra for the exam.
No, your course fee includes the charges for the exam and certificate.

Will the proctor be able to access my personal computer files and documents without my knowledge?
Our proctors cannot access your computer files without your knowledge. With your permission, proctors have the ability to view the screen and utilize the mouse and keyboard as if they were sitting next to you. Once the exam starts, the proctor will monitor everything on the computer screen, but can no longer utilize the your mouse and keyboard. During the entire process, a chat box is running on your computer, and you can see what permissions the proctor currently has at any time. The entire chat session log is saved, including a permanent record of what actions the proctor took while accessing your computer.
Do you support tablets or smartphones
Our services work only on desktop and laptop computers. Tablets such as the iPad or Windows Phone operating systems are not supported. However, you may schedule appointments from these devices.
Is your service compatible with Linux?
No, VProctor is not compatible with Linux.
Is your service compatible with Macs?
Yes, VProctor is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 or higher.
What type of internet connections are supported?
Any high speed internet connection is allowed as long as it meets the minimum download and upload speed requirements (check here). However, tethering your mobile device as a wireless hotspot is not supported because of inconsistent bandwidth.
How do I know if my camera and microphone will work with your website?

What equipment will I need in order to be proctored?

Can I book multiple time slots for same test.
No, you can only get one time slot for a test.
