It doesn't need you to do this whole bunch of tasks. Hadoop automatically performs this function only with some instructions you have to give it.
Map-reduce:
In traditional data processing procedures, we only use one processor unit to store the data. But now we have Big Data to deal with.
So, Hadoop uses a multiple network system to split Big Data using the Map-reduce technique. This decrease the burden and made it easier to solve this problem. Those traditional methods consume a lot of time and effort. But using Hadoop you can save considerable time and deal with Big Data.
